Stephan Bodzin and Marc Romboy

Tonight I am off to Showcase a nightclub in an old naval hangar underneath the Alexandre III bridge in the Champs Elysées. The nightclub is featuring a showcase between the Herzblut and Systematic record labels. Headlining each of those labels are the two great DJs Stephan Bodzin and Marc Romboy.

This is the first time to this club for me and really only the second night out clubbing in Paris. The nights start out a little later than NY with doors at 11pm rather than 10pm. Im looking forward to hopefully hearing some great music on a great sound system that is clearly in a very cool location.

Here are two of my favourite tracks from the artists. The first is by Stephan and the second a collaboartion between the two. Should be a great night!

Avicii at Radio City Music Hall

Last night I went to an great show at the Radio City Music Hall. The performer was Avicii who is a Swedish DJ/producer. I was lucky enough to be given free tickets to the show.

The stage set up was amazing with him performing on top of a large head structure. The sound and lighting effects were wonderful especially with the colours and L.E.D. display.

I personally don't like his sound of dubstep/house as I think it is pre recorded to match the lighting effects. But in terms of an overall performance it was great. The crowd really got into it.

Sven Väth and Carl Craig at Pleasure Gardens, London

I have just picked up tickets to an exciting event being held in London on the 1st of December, 2012. Sven Väth, Carl Craig, Mathias Kaden and others will be playing a massive event at Pleasure Gardens presented by Cocoon. Should be a crazy night.
